    There are not any specific grants that are solely for paying bills while in college. You need to file your fafsa at.

    Your school will award you all aid for which you are eligible. If the aid for which you are eligible is more then the cost for your tuition and fees the remainder will be credited to you to use for living expenses.

    Student grants and student loans are for school related expenses. As long as you are enrolled in school at least half time each semester, then at least a portion of your living expenses (bills) are a school related expense.

    my fafsa is zero my son took out the max of 2 loans totolling 5500. my concern is he will have to sell his car and will not be able to pay for his student loans from high school, because there wasn’t any money left to live on. he has 15 cr. and is in pre med. is there any help for him? I’m very low income and can’t help. do you have any ideas. i hate for him to loose his car and kill his credit and my credit. he is 17 years old. thank you
